Gordon Parks Dies at 93 The photographer and film maker Gordon Parks has died this week at the age of 93. Parks worked as a photographer for Life magazine between 1948-68, focusing on the struggles of black Americans. He used the camera as a tool to make others aware of the poverty and racism in America.
